Let's eat chicken, and rock out to the Nuge.

If it's one thing I can't stand, it's a summer-of-love-eat-a-peach-for-peace-hug-a-tree animal activist. These fair weather superheros who rather a million people die, than one animal be "mistreated." These guys are going to change the world, just as long as everyone on Earth passes by the community college while they're passing out their freshly Kinko'd fliers. But, let's pray to Pure Luck and Evolution it doesn't rain, because then they'd have to pack it in and call it a day. If Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were a frail white guy with glasses and a pocket full of weed, he'd marching right along side of his pseudo-ethical brothers. Because, according to PETA it's the exact same struggle. That's right, that piece of chicken you're eating may as well be a black guy from the 60's. Or even a Jew during the holocaust. The Jews were burned alive, and chicken is BBQ'd! SAME DIFFERENCE, RIGHT? Well, I'd hate to burst this ugly bubble, but no there is a huge difference. The Jews during the holocaust, and the modern Jews have at least one thing in common: THEY'RE HUMAN. They're humans with families, friends, and memories. They were brought into this world just like all of us. They were someone's baby, they played games, they fell in love, but they were forced into camps, and killed systematicly. And they're equating this to a bird. Is anyone else even a little disgusted by this? HUMAN, ANIMAL, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE? THEY ALL SEEM TO BE THE SAME THING IN ALL THOSE CARTOONS I USED TO WATCH. I have only one question; how can an animal with the brain the size of a pea have ALL the same emotions, and thoughts as the highest lifeform? That's right, I said it. HUMANS ARE THE HIGHEST LIFEFORM, GET OVER IT. A chicken doesn't check its myspace. You're not going to get an add from FogHorn LegHorn. And why can't you talk to a chicken over AIM? BECAUSE, CHICKENS ARE STUPID! What I personal think is disgusting is; the exact same group of people who are against animal testing are for stem cell research. It's because PETA nuts HATE humans and love animals. Period.

By the way, you can NEVER bring down the meat market. You may choose to not eat meat, but in almost every way, you're giving your money to the meat industry. The car you drive was made by someone who eats meat. The mortar and brick in your home has animal products. Film contains mylar, which is an animal byproduct. If you've ever seen a movie, well you've supported the meat industry. Sorry, pal. Which I think is hilarious, considering Peta's main source of propaganda is FILM.

Eat animals, it's what they're here for.

Uh, a few things here. With your last point, you can say the same thing about meat-lovers for PETA. You drive a car that was made from a factory where a PETA employee works and donates some portion of the salary to PETA or saving animals.
To clarify, I am not exactly a PETA supporter, because I never say no to a fillet, roasted chicken, or milk, but I guess I can see where they are coming from with emotions of some animals, because some of these animals could be "pets" to some and don't take kindly to eating their "pets" which they could consider part of the family. I realize its not a great argument for them, but its the principle behind it with emotion, because these animals are mainly bred for consumption by people. \
The problem comes in where people consider anything with feeling or emotion or any form of intelligence and its killing to be wrong. Birds, I'll admit, they are dumb fuckers, so I say lets eat em, along with cows and ducks. But the problem is, where to draw the line on what is acceptable to each individual. In china, they eat dogs, which is absolutely disgusting to me and most other pet owners, would you like your dog Sparky to be eaten by someone? Maybe your more of a cat person, would you like someone to take a bite out of snowball's stomach?
The same thing could be said with any people who eat animals, because someone could consider them to be somewhat intelligent and have emotions and feelings. I know my dog has emotions, when I yell at him for peeing on the carpet, he whimpers and walks away with his head down, showing intelligence and feeling. They may not be as smart as humans (some people can be dumb...so you never know), but generally these animals have feelings. So I can see where these people come from when trying to save an animal that can feel. I think their method of expressing their opinion is bad by scaring people with videos to try to make them understand, instead of actually saying their point.
So in reality, the point of PETA trying to save a bird is criticized because of what other people have come to think about it. These kinds of things are things set in religions about killing of anything , in Christianity-there really isn't anything about not eating meat (at least I think), because it was generally accepted by those who started the religion (Jesus and supports). However if it were against the religion, I think PETA would be a whole hell of a lot bigger.
(Its late and I haven't slept in a while, so I hope I'm still on track).

I think the comment about never bringing down the meat industry went way over your head. And secondly, you can't prove that animals have emotions, or feel pain. Even if they do, they for sure don't interperate it the same way we do. They're animals, they don't even realise they're alive. And, of course you wouldn't eat your dog. There's no meat on it. We're predators, and as predators we aren't suppose to eat other predators. That's why you never see a wolf try to take down a bear. Or a bear try to eat a wolf. The biggest thing that is wrong about Peta, is that Peta tries to KILL people in the name of animal rights. They're wrong.

First of all I am not with peta, I eat meat. I do believe peta has some good points.
We (human) do things to animals that we do not have to. We act like they have no feeling what so ever and nothing could be farther from the true. They feel pain the same way we do, they love their young the same way we do and in some cases more.
As I see it the people that are so against animal activist, are the people that don’t care for anything human or animal. They only think of their self and what they want and to hell with anything else. They think anything and everything we do to animals is just fine.
They see nothing wrong with putting sick cows in our food supply. Do you know how long it took animal activists to get them from dragging sick or hurt cows to be slaughter for our food.

WASHINGTON - A week after the meat industry called for a ban on downer cows in the nation's food supply, the U.S. Agriculture Department has not agreed to change a policy that allows some sick or injured cows to end up on dinner tables.

Downers -- animals too sick or hurt to stand for slaughter -- are generally prohibited from the food supply, but current rules allow for exceptions. Meat producers fought to preserve those exceptions until last week, when a coalition of major industry groups reversed their position and joined animal advocates and several lawmakers in calling for an absolute ban.

Animals makes our lives better everyday, so the least we can do for them is make sure they are not abuse in anyway. The people that don’t want animals to have any rights are not as good as a animal
